Members of the Glendora Tartans celebrate their 28-21 victory over the Charter Oak Chargers at Citrus College during week zero action at Citrus College in Glendora

Hello sports fans. As I mentioned the other day, I went to the big Charter Oak-Glendora game this week, kicking off week zero action in the san gabriel valley. The game was every bit as good as advertised and Glendora pulled off the 28-21 victory.

As I walked the sidelines, I could not help a feeling of anticipation for this season, even though I was nowhere near the Tribune newsroom this week, I’ll be there next week bringing you the results of the Charter Oak vs. Gardena game. It will be interesting to see if the Chargers bounce back from this opening setback in their home field.

I wanted to give a shoutout to Freddy Robledo and Aram Tolegian for the wonderful job they did tonight recapping this game and the rest of the week zero action. Check them out:
